The Cat Vacuuming Society is a face-to-face writers group that meets in Northern Virginia.  Our members are fiction writers who are seeking to hone their craft and aim for professional publication.

We meet every Thursday evening from 7 pm until 9 pm at a restaurant in Arlington.

Our goal is to help each other get more writing done and to improve as we go along.  We do this via practicing goal setting, submission/critique, workshops, how-to book discussions, and more.

While our members write mostly genre fiction (science fiction, fantasy, horror, and mystery), we are open to all types of fiction.
